About Cangshan Mountain

Cangshan Mountain is located beside Dali in western Yunnan. The mountain range rises above the Dali valley and is known for its high elevations, forests, streams and changing mountain weather.

The environment is quite different from the major tea mountains of southern Yunnan. Cangshan has a cooler, higher-elevation landscape, with tea growing in mountain areas around the range.

Our connection to Cangshan comes through Suzanne Cloud Leaf Raw Puerh, a Spring 2025 raw Puerh made from older-tree material grown at approximately 2,000 meters.

The tea has a fresh and clear character that reflects the high-mountain environment. As a raw Puerh, it can also continue to develop over time as the tea naturally ages.

I named it Suzanne Cloud Leaf because of the connection I felt between the tea, the high mountain environment and the clouds that move through the landscape.

Teas from Cangshan Mountain

Suzanne Cloud Leaf Raw Puerh is currently our main tea from Cangshan.

It is a Spring 2025 raw Puerh from older-tree material, selected for its fresh character and high-elevation origin.

For Rambutan Tea Company, Cangshan represents another side of Yunnan tea: a different landscape, higher elevation and a fresh expression of raw Puerh.
