Goddess Kiss — Spring 2025. Nannuo Mountain Ancient Tree Raw Pu'er | A Century of Patience, Natural Orchid Aroma

2026 Spring Nannuo Mountain Gushu Raw Puerh — Goddess Kiss

A kiss from the Goddess was the only comparable experience in my life that I could reference when I tasted this tea for the first time. It strengthened and cleared my mind, giving me the resolve to continue. The taste was warm, gentle, and beautiful. This tea made me want to start a tea company and share this perfect tea with the world. Before experiencing it, I didn't think it was possible.

A Century in Every Leaf

Originating from the depths of the Xishuangbanna rainforest, Nannuo Mountain nurtures the marks of time — ancient tea trees hundreds of years old. They absorb the essence of heaven and earth, developing rich inner qualities, shaping leaves that are thick, firm, and adorned with silvery tips.

When brewed, the tea liquor is golden and clear. Most captivating is the elegant orchid fragrance that rises gently, soothing the senses. On the palate, the tea is fresh and mellow; the orchid aroma flows with the water, intertwining with the robust spirit of the ancient trees, leaving a long-lasting, sweet aftertaste and a deep resonance.

A dialogue with a century-old tree and a connection with the life that supports it.

The tea liquor glows amber-orange, luminous and clear like liquid topaz. On the palate, it unfolds silky sweetness with hints of wild honey, flowing into a long, soothing finish that lingers like a gentle breeze. Where traditional roasted red teas build heat, this sun-dried leaf turns inward — the fire tempers itself, leaving only warmth without the burn.

A cup that tastes like sunlight held gently in the hand, this tea offers a rare paradox: the depth and sweetness of red tea, carried on a current of cool, quiet calm.

Benefits
  • Clarity and resolve — a grounding cup that steadies the mind and sharpens focus.
  • Deep, lasting sweetness — a resonant huigan (回甘) that builds long after the cup is finished.
  • Naturally rich in polyphenols — sun-dried, minimally processed leaves that age gracefully over time.
Brewing Guide

Basic Parameters

Leaf amount: ~1g tea per standard cup for more than 8 steeps; 3g to 8g for Gongfu style. Water temperature: broiling hot water — ancient tree raw pu'er opens best at a full, rolling boil. Western style: 3 minutes for the first steep; re-steep more than 8 times, adding 1–2 extra minutes each round. Gongfu style: rinse briefly first (2 seconds, discard the water); 1st steep ~6 seconds; 2nd–3rd steep 8–12 seconds, increasing gradually; later steeps add 2–3 seconds each round; 20+ infusions possible.
Tasting Notes

Fragrance: An elegant, natural orchid aroma — clean and quietly fragrant, the kind that settles into the water itself and lingers softly on the breath after each sip.

  • Hundreds of years in the making — leaves drawn from true ancient trees, thick and firm, cloaked in silvery down.
  • Orchid at the core — a natural floral note that isn't added, but grown into the leaf itself.
  • Built to age — as a raw (sheng) pu'er, this tea will only deepen and transform with time in your collection.

Our Impact

For us, crafting a tea that nourishes the body also requires working with land that nourishes itself. It's why we source directly from farming families we know and trust, high on Nannuo Mountain, where the ancient tea trees have grown for centuries without pesticides and fertilizers. Each leaf is hand-picked by farmers who have tended these trees across generations. The trees grow scattered among the forest — never in rows, never alone — surrounded by wild bushes, old-growth trees, and a living understory of native plants and microbes found nowhere else. This tangled, untamed terroir is what gives the tea its singular character: a place cannot be replicated, only honored. Sourced from a single mountain, a single harvest, a single origin — nothing blended in, nothing added.

Nannuo Mountain Ancient Trees — 1,600m Elevation

Growing at 1,600 meters above sea level in the misty forests of Yunnan, Nannuo Mountain's ancient tea trees thrive in cool mountain air, rich mineral soils, and a unique high-altitude ecosystem. These mature trees develop leaves with exceptional depth, natural sweetness, and a complex character that reflects the ancient terroir of one of Yunnan's most revered tea mountains.
